In the traditional village of Chlomos in South Corfu, the Chlomos Museum opens a window into another era, inviting visitors to discover the everyday life, customs and stories of the people who lived on the island two centuries ago.

The experience unfolds across two distinct museum spaces, Nona’s House and the Olive Mill, both created with great care to preserve family memories and the local traditions of Corfu.

Authentic objects from the 18th and 19th centuries, traditional household items, tools and personal belongings tell the stories of daily life and reveal how earlier generations of Corfiots lived, worked and created.

At the historic Olive Mill, the journey continues through Corfu’s deep connection with the olive tree and olive oil production, a tradition that for centuries played an essential role in the island’s everyday life and local economy.

The Chlomos Museum is more than a collection of objects. It is an authentic cultural experience that brings visitors closer to the people, stories and way of life of an earlier Corfu, offering a different perspective on the island’s heritage and identity.
