Pontiglio Winery Experience
Discover one of Corfu's rarest living traditions at Pontiglio Winery, a family-run estate in Lefkimmi producing wine exclusively from indigenous grape varieties that nearly disappeared from the island. Founded in 2014 on vineyards the family has cultivated since 1989, Pontiglio is dedicated to preserving Corfu's native vines — grown, to this day, on their original, ungrafted rootstocks, as Corfu was never reached by phylloxera.
During the guided tour, you will walk through the winery's production area, learn about Corfu's centuries-old winemaking heritage and the story behind rare local varieties such as Kakotrigis and Skopelitiko, and enjoy a relaxed tasting of four Pontiglio wines paired with local snacks.
