Apollo Corfu Supports the 14th Korissos Road Race

Running and Walking for Lake Korissos

This year, Apollo Corfu once again supports the 14th Korissos Road Race, a special initiative dedicated to promoting and protecting the unique ecosystem of Lake Korissos and Chrysi Ammos.

On Saturday, 5 September 2026, residents and visitors are invited to gather at Issos for an afternoon that combines sport, nature and environmental awareness.

The program includes a 7 km road race on the sand, as well as a 1,200 m race for primary school students, offering an opportunity for both adults and younger participants to take part.

The event aims to highlight the importance of the Issos - Lake Korissos - Chalikounas - Laoudia ecosystem and to support ongoing efforts to preserve and protect this remarkable natural area.

Guests of Apollo Corfu who would like to participate are warmly invited to join this initiative and discover one of Corfu’s most distinctive natural landscapes through a different kind of experience.
